DeYonte' "DJ" Goodman is an Alumni of Florida State University, c/o 2017, with a Bachelor's of Arts in Studio Art concentrating in Printmaking. He's been doing art since the age of 3, learning from a Crayola Tracing Machine, a memory he would never forget. He started off as most artist, drawing still-life's and self portraits and landscape drawings, the fundamentals. But it wasn't until high school where DJ hit a wall but overcame it when he found a love for shapes, patterns and abstractions. Citing Piet Mondrian, Jackson Pollock, Keith Haring and Britto being some of his inspirations. He's also looking into Maya Hayuk, Jeremyville, and Andy Smith.

Where'd the name Ayde come from?

I was sitting in art history class doodling to stay focused (she encouraged us to do so) and stopped and thought, 'How do people get your attention?', some people scream 'Aye!'. So I was like, why not put that together and just go with it? A professor that came into my lecture during freshman year said that if you ever have a name, make sure it's near the beginning of the alphabet. So here we are!

How is it pronounced?

Aye-Dee. Not Aide, that's been said numerous times. Understandable though.
